Product Details

The ACDelco 39073 Professional Belt Tensioner Assembly is an automatic belt tensioner designed to maintain proper tension on serpentine and drive belts throughout their service life. This tensioner automatically adjusts to compensate for belt stretch and wear, ensuring optimal performance of engine-driven accessories including the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, and water pump.

Key Features:

  • Automatic tensioning mechanism maintains constant belt tension
  • Spring-loaded pulley design compensates for belt stretch and wear
  • Pre-assembled unit for simplified installation
  • Engineered to OE specifications for reliable fit and performance
  • Helps prevent belt slippage and premature accessory failure
  • Durable construction for extended service life

ACDelco Professional parts are designed for automotive technicians and vehicle owners who want quality replacement components for reliable repairs. Belt tensioners should be inspected regularly and replaced if the tensioner arm moves excessively, the pulley shows wear or noise, or when replacing the serpentine belt during major service intervals.
