Product Details

The ACDelco 38276 Professional Automatic Belt Tensioner Assembly is a premium aftermarket component designed for accessory belt drive systems (ABDS) that require automatic tensioning. This complete assembly includes both the tensioner mechanism and pulley, ensuring proper belt tension, alignment, and damping for superior performance and extended component life.

Key Features:

  • Patented vibration damping system increases tensioner, belt, and accessory component life
  • Torsional round spring design provides consistent tension throughout operation
  • Sealed spring design prevents contamination for enhanced durability
  • 90-degree molded construction for optimal accessory belt drive system operation
  • Manufactured to meet GM specifications for fit, form, and function
  • Suitable for domestic, import, and heavy-duty applications

ACDelco Professional (now known as ACDelco Gold) parts are high-quality alternatives to Original Equipment parts, designed and backed by General Motors. This automatic belt tensioner assembly maintains the correct amount of tension on the serpentine belt throughout engine operation, preventing belt slippage and ensuring reliable performance of alternators, water pumps, power steering pumps, and other belt-driven accessories.
