EBC DP31247C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads

The EBC Redstuff DP31247C brake pads are engineered for enthusiasts who demand exceptional stopping power without the mess of traditional performance pads. These ceramic-enhanced pads reduce brake dust by 60-90% compared to standard pads, and the minimal dust that does form contains no steel fiber particles, making it easy to wash away with a simple sponge and water.

Key Features:

• Synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles for superior performance
• Excellent cold bite matched with improved braking as temperatures rise
• Tested to stop 13 meters shorter than OEM pads from 100 mph (160 kph)
• EBC Brake-In surface coating conditions rotors and accelerates bedding process
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 for consistent, predictable stops
• Quieter operation than semi-metallic alternatives
• Most applications ECE R90 approved for brake safety compliance

The Redstuff compound represents a significant advancement over earlier formulations, delivering longer pad life, improved braking performance, and reduced noise. As a hard-wearing pad designed for fast street driving and repeated heavy braking, the DP31247C requires a proper bedding period of up to 1,000 miles to allow the pad material to conform to your brake rotors for optimal performance. Patience during break-in is rewarded with outstanding stopping power and drastically reduced wheel dust.
