Mr. Gasket 6322 Inferno Shield Exhaust Wrap 2 Inch x 50 Foot

The Mr. Gasket Inferno Shield Exhaust Wrap is a high-performance thermal barrier designed to reduce under-hood temperatures and improve engine efficiency. This professional-grade exhaust wrap measures 2 inches wide by 50 feet long with a thickness of 1/16 inch, providing sufficient coverage to wrap one small block or sport compact header.

Key Features:

• Reduces radiant heat transfer from exhaust headers and pipes, lowering under-hood temperatures
• Withstands continuous temperatures up to 1200°F and peak temperatures up to 2000°F
• Non-flammable construction resists water, fungus, and petroleum products
• 50-foot length provides complete coverage for small block V8 or sport compact headers
• 2-inch width allows for proper overlap during installation
• Helps improve exhaust scavenging by maintaining higher exhaust gas temperatures

By insulating exhaust components, this wrap keeps heat contained within the exhaust system rather than radiating into the engine bay. This thermal management helps protect nearby components, reduces intake air temperatures, and can contribute to improved performance. The durable material construction ensures long-lasting performance even in harsh automotive environments.
