EBC DP31174C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads

The EBC Redstuff DP31174C ceramic brake pads are engineered for enthusiasts who demand superior braking performance without the mess of traditional brake dust. These advanced pads reduce brake dust by 60-90% compared to conventional pads, and the minimal dust produced contains no steel fiber particles, making it easy to wash away with a simple sponge and water.

Key Features:

• Synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles for improved performance and longevity
• Excellent cold bite - performs as well or better than OEM pads from initial application
• Superior stopping power - proven to stop 13 meters shorter than OEM pads from 100 mph (160 kph)
• EBC Brake-In surface coating conditions rotors and accelerates bedding process
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 for consistent, predictable braking
• Approximately 50% dust reduction for cleaner wheels
• Quieter operation than semi-metallic pads
• Most applications approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation

These hard-wearing pads are ideal for fast street driving and repeated heavy braking situations. Please note that proper bedding is essential - allow up to 1,000 miles for the pads to fully conform to your brake rotors and achieve optimal performance. The EBC Redstuff ceramic formula represents a significant advancement over earlier Redstuff compounds, offering better braking, longer life, and reduced noise.
