EBC DP31172C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads

The EBC DP31172C Redstuff brake pads deliver exceptional stopping power with dramatically reduced brake dust for drivers who demand performance without the mess. These advanced ceramic composite pads reduce dust output by 60-90% compared to conventional brake pads, and the minimal dust produced contains no steel fiber particles, making it easy to wash away with a simple sponge and water.

Key Features:

• Synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles for superior performance
• Excellent cold bite—performs as well or better than OEM pads right from startup
• Progressive braking performance that improves as temperatures rise
• Proven to reduce stopping distance by up to 13 meters from 100 mph compared to OEM pads
• EBC Brake-In surface coating conditions rotors and accelerates bedding process
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 for consistent, predictable braking
• Approximately 50% dust reduction with significantly cleaner dust composition
• Most applications approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation

Installation Notes:

As a hard-wearing performance pad, the DP31172C requires a thorough bedding period of up to 1000 miles for optimal performance. During this break-in period, the pads gradually conform to the brake rotor surface. Patience during this process ensures maximum braking efficiency and pad longevity. Ideal for fast street driving, spirited driving, and repeated heavy braking applications.
