NGK 7418 Laser Iridium Spark Plug IFR5J11 14mm Fine Wire

The NGK 7418 Laser Iridium Spark Plug (IFR5J11) is a fine-wire iridium spark plug. NGK designed it to combine strong ignition performance with long service life. It is often specified as original equipment, and it is a direct-fit replacement for worn OE plugs in the applications it was built for.

Key Features:

• Fine-wire iridium center electrode with a laser-welded tip for efficient spark energy and good ignitability
• The iridium tip is about six times harder than platinum, which helps resist electrode wear
• Platinum pad on the ground electrode for even wear in DIS (distributorless) ignition systems
• Ceramic insulator with a projected insulator nose
• Built-in resistor (5000 ohm) to help suppress radio frequency interference
• Copper center electrode core and nickel alloy ground electrode core
