Product Details

The Injen SP1977BLK is a high-performance short ram air intake system engineered to deliver measurable power gains and aggressive engine tone. This system replaces the restrictive factory air intake with a smooth, mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube that provides an unobstructed path for maximum airflow to your engine.

Patented Performance Technology:

Injen Technology holds four patents on air intake tuning, making them the world's first manufacturer of tuned intake systems. The SP1977BLK features patented MegaRam (MR) Technology (Patents 7,359,795 and 7,669,571) and Air Fusion technology (Patent 7,721,669), which optimize airflow velocity and volume for consistent power delivery throughout the RPM range.

Proven Power Gains:

Dyno-tested results show gains of up to 13 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque. The system is precision-tuned to maintain safe air/fuel ratios across the entire power band, requiring no additional engine tuning or modification for proper operation.

Premium Filtration System:

Includes a fully serviceable Injen SuperNano-Web dry air filter that provides superior filtration with increased surface area for maximum airflow. The dry filter design requires no oiling, making maintenance simple. The system also includes a universal heat shield to protect intake air temperatures.

Key Features:

  • 6061-T6 aluminum intake tubing with black powder-coated finish
  • Short ram intake design for easy installation
  • SuperNano-Web dry air filter (replacement filter: X-1015-BB)
  • Universal heat shield included
  • Aggressive, throaty intake sound under acceleration
  • Optional Hydroshield available (part numbers 1034BLK or 1034RED)
  • CARB compliant (EO #D-476-8) for street legal use in all 50 states
  • Made in Pomona, California, USA

I had a great experience shopping at autoplicity

Great price found for my product. excellent customer service and my item was in stock.

Ordering was very easy and product was delivered within a week. I ordered a battery and it was received in good condition and works. I would recommend autoplicity to others.

This is our second order from Autoplicity. The first one didn't go so well due to a mix up with the Sparco seat pricing. Though I was starting to question our decision to order from them after several emails and phone calls and online chats, they came through in the end. These guys earned our second order by honoring the price they had listed and then calling to follow up when our race seat was shipped. Since this group was able turn our bad experience into a positive one we made our second order and, so far, it looks like they are again getting us what we want at the best price we can find. We are happy to recommend Autoplicty and plan on using them for future orders. There is one specific thing we would recommend, change the quality and volume of the hold music on the 800 #. It sounded like we were calling a 1970's van with a blown Jensen stereo turned all the way up,...

Shipped very quickly and had the best price I could find!

Great Price and questions were answered by a real person on the phone, who had specific knowledge of this product, unlike a local dealer! Thanks!

Great prices on most things. Ordered on a sunday and they processed and shipped the order the next day.

first order fast shipping and great fit

The whole process was some and quick. They also had the lowest prices available. Will be using them more often for sure!!

This was my first order with Autoplicity and I am very happy. They had the lowest price on-line that I found. Communication was great and shipping was very fast. I ordered late on Thursday and it was at my house the following Tuesday, and I didn't pay for rush shipping. I got exactly what I expected. Will do business with these guys again.
