Product Details

Restore the structural integrity and handling precision of your classic GM mid-size Monte Carlo with the Prothane 7-126-BL Body Mount Bushing Set. Designed as a direct replacement for deteriorated OEM rubber body mounts, this kit delivers the rigidity and resilience needed for both street cruising and performance driving.

Over time, factory rubber body mounts become compressed, cracked, and worn — allowing excessive body flex, vibration transmission, and sloppy handling. Prothane's proprietary polyurethane compound solves this by providing a firmer, longer-lasting interface between the body and frame, noticeably tightening the feel of the vehicle without sacrificing ride comfort.

Key Features:

  • Manufactured from Prothane's high-durometer polyurethane for superior longevity over OEM rubber
  • Restores proper body-to-frame alignment and reduces unwanted body flex
  • Provides improved steering response and overall handling feel
  • Resistant to oil, grease, road chemicals, and UV degradation
  • Black (BL) finish for a clean, factory-style appearance
  • Suitable for street performance and mild off-road use
  • Direct OEM replacement — no drilling or modification required
  • Includes all necessary bushings and hardware for a complete installation

The Prothane 7-126-BL is engineered specifically for GM mid-size Monte Carlo models from 1970 to 1972, ensuring a precise, drop-in fit. Whether you're restoring a classic or building a performance street machine, these body mounts are a cost-effective upgrade that delivers real, noticeable results.

I had a great experience shopping at autoplicity

Great price found for my product. excellent customer service and my item was in stock.

Ordering was very easy and product was delivered within a week. I ordered a battery and it was received in good condition and works. I would recommend autoplicity to others.

This is our second order from Autoplicity. The first one didn't go so well due to a mix up with the Sparco seat pricing. Though I was starting to question our decision to order from them after several emails and phone calls and online chats, they came through in the end. These guys earned our second order by honoring the price they had listed and then calling to follow up when our race seat was shipped. Since this group was able turn our bad experience into a positive one we made our second order and, so far, it looks like they are again getting us what we want at the best price we can find. We are happy to recommend Autoplicty and plan on using them for future orders. There is one specific thing we would recommend, change the quality and volume of the hold music on the 800 #. It sounded like we were calling a 1970's van with a blown Jensen stereo turned all the way up,...

Shipped very quickly and had the best price I could find!

Great prices on most things. Ordered on a sunday and they processed and shipped the order the next day.

first order fast shipping and great fit

This was my first order with Autoplicity and I am very happy. They had the lowest price on-line that I found. Communication was great and shipping was very fast. I ordered late on Thursday and it was at my house the following Tuesday, and I didn't pay for rush shipping. I got exactly what I expected. Will do business with these guys again.

Great product and speedy service!

I have been looking for a Thule bike rack and finally found it here for the cheapest price and it was in stock!! Fast shipping, great customer service(PH), and lowest price on the web. My order was shipped on the same day it was placed, my order # is 5674. I am set to receive my order tomorrow. Couldn't be more pleased! Thx
