Four Seasons 83716 Steel A/C Filter Drier Receiver

The Four Seasons 83716 Steel Filter Drier is a direct-fit A/C receiver drier designed to remove moisture and contaminants from your vehicle's air conditioning system. As a critical component in any properly functioning A/C system, the receiver drier protects downstream components—including the compressor and expansion valve—from damaging moisture, acids, and particulate debris.

Key Features:

• Steel construction for a durable, long-lasting build capable of withstanding system pressure demands
• High-quality desiccant absorbs moisture and prevents corrosion throughout the A/C circuit
• Quality welds provide a leak-free design for reliable, long-term performance
• Includes necessary gaskets, O-rings, and seals for straightforward installation
• Manufactured in an ISO/TS16949 & ISO14001 certified facility, ensuring consistent quality and environmental standards

The desiccant bag inside the filter drier is the primary line of defense against moisture in the A/C system. Once a system has been opened or is found to be leaking, the desiccant can become saturated rapidly, making replacement essential. Replacing the filter drier is also required to maintain compressor warranty validity and should be performed any time the A/C system is opened for service.

Four Seasons is part of the SMP Temperature Control Division and is recognized as the largest aftermarket mobile climate control parts supplier in the industry. The 83716 is a reliable OE-replacement filter drier built to restore proper A/C system operation.
