Standard Motor Products VS127 EGR Time Delay Switch

The Standard Motor Products VS127 EGR Time Delay Switch is a precision emission control component designed to regulate the timing of exhaust gas recirculation during engine operation. This switch controls when the EGR system becomes active, preventing premature EGR valve operation during cold starts and warm-up periods to ensure optimal engine performance and reduce the risk of stalling.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for original equipment
• Designed to delay EGR system activation until optimal operating temperature is reached
• Helps improve combustion efficiency and reduce harmful emissions
• Manufactured by Standard Motor Products under the Intermotor brand
• Compact design with screw-in attachment for secure mounting
• Built to meet OE-level quality and reliability standards

This time delay switch plays a critical role in your vehicle's emission control system by preventing the EGR valve from opening immediately after engine start. By allowing the engine to warm up before activating exhaust gas recirculation, it helps maintain smooth idle, prevents rough running conditions, and ensures compliance with emission standards. Standard Motor Products has been manufacturing quality automotive replacement parts since 1919, providing trusted solutions for the aftermarket industry.
