Product Details

The Prothane 1-501 motor mount kit is specifically engineered for 1972-1986 Jeep CJ models equipped with 6-cylinder engines. These performance polyurethane motor mounts are designed to replace worn OEM rubber mounts, providing superior durability and improved engine stability.

Key Features:

  • Application-specific design for precise fit on Jeep CJ 6-cylinder engines
  • High-performance polyurethane construction resists oil, chemicals, and road debris
  • Limits excessive engine movement for improved throttle response and power transfer
  • Poly-locked "run-safe" design maintains functionality even under extreme conditions
  • Reduces drivetrain stress and minimizes the risk of mount breakage
  • Direct replacement for factory rubber mounts

Prothane's polyurethane motor mounts deliver enhanced performance for both daily drivers and off-road enthusiasts. By controlling engine movement more effectively than stock rubber mounts, these mounts ensure consistent power delivery to the wheels while extending the life of surrounding components. The run-safe feature provides peace of mind during aggressive driving or trail use, allowing you to get back home even if the mounts are pushed beyond normal limits.
