The 3M 06455 Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape 4016 is an off-white, 1/16" (1.6 mm) thick, open-cell polyurethane foam tape featuring 3M Adhesive 100 — a firm acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive system — coated on both sides of the foam carrier. Designed for reliable mounting, bonding, joining, and holding across a wide range of surfaces, this tape delivers high shear strength combined with excellent conformability to irregular or uneven substrates.

This tape is well-suited for interior mounting applications including signage, nameplates, soap dispensers, air fresheners, and general industrial assembly tasks. For best results, apply between 70°F and 100°F (21°C–38°C) to clean, dry surfaces. The open-cell foam structure also aids in component cooling by allowing airflow. Compatible with die-cutting and converting processes, as well as manual and automated tape dispensing equipment.
