Standard Motor Products ETS82 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor

The Standard Motor Products ETS82 is a direct-fit OE replacement Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor engineered to restore accurate exhaust temperature monitoring in your vehicle's emissions and engine management system.

How It Works:

The EGT sensor continuously measures exhaust gas temperatures and relays that data to the engine control unit (ECU). When temperatures rise beyond safe thresholds, the ECU takes corrective action—such as adjusting fuel injection rates or reducing turbocharger boost pressure—to protect critical engine and exhaust components from heat damage.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE replacement ensures proper fit, form, and function for a trouble-free installation
• Premium materials and durable construction withstand the extreme heat and harsh conditions of the exhaust system
• Designed and manufactured to stringent quality standards at a certified facility for dependable, consistent performance
• Restores accurate ECU feedback for proper emissions control, fuel economy, and fuel/air ratio optimization
• Helps protect the catalytic converter and downstream exhaust components from over-temperature damage

Replacing a faulty EGT sensor promptly is critical—a failing sensor can lead to increased fuel consumption, poor engine performance, and potential damage to expensive exhaust after-treatment components. The Standard Motor Products ETS82 exhaust temperature sensor delivers the reliability and precision needed to keep your vehicle running at its best.
