Four Seasons 83231 Aluminum Filter Drier Pad Mount

The Four Seasons 83231 is an aluminum filter drier designed for automotive air conditioning systems. This pad mount style filter drier serves as a critical component in the AC system by removing moisture, acid, and contaminants from the refrigerant to protect the compressor and other vital components.

Key Features:

• Durable aluminum construction for corrosion resistance and heat dissipation
• Pad mount design for secure installation on vehicle mounting surfaces
• High-capacity desiccant material effectively removes moisture from refrigerant
• Filters contaminants and debris to prevent system damage
• Integral strainer prevents particles from circulating through the AC system
• Direct replacement for original equipment filter driers

Filter driers should be replaced whenever the AC system is opened for service, after compressor failure, or when excessive moisture is detected in the system. The desiccant material has a limited capacity and cannot be recharged, making replacement essential for optimal AC performance and longevity.
