Product Details

The Dorman 56263 is a cost-effective replacement solution for cracked or damaged passenger side door mirror glass. This heated mirror glass features a durable plastic backing plate and is precision-engineered to match original equipment specifications for a direct-fit replacement.

Key Features:

  • Heated mirror glass with integrated heating element to prevent ice and fog buildup
  • Plastic backing plate for durability and proper mounting
  • Direct replacement for OEM part number 5142874AA
  • Simple snap-in installation with plug-and-play heated element wiring
  • Cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire mirror assembly
  • Precision-engineered to match original mirror glass dimensions and curvature

This replacement mirror glass allows you to repair just the broken glass component rather than purchasing an expensive complete mirror assembly. Installation follows a straightforward procedure where the glass snaps into the existing mirror housing and the heating element wires connect directly to the factory connectors. The integrated heating element helps maintain clear visibility in cold and wet weather conditions by melting ice and clearing condensation from the mirror surface.

Although there was a mix up with the shipping on my order customer service was helpful and expedited the solution and made it worth my trouble. I will be keeping Autoplicity in mind for any other parts I might need for my Jeep.
