Product Details

The Standard Motor Products TM49 is an automatic transmission vacuum modulator designed to restore proper transmission shift points and operation. This critical transmission component uses engine vacuum to regulate hydraulic pressure within the transmission, ensuring smooth shifts that match engine load conditions.

Key Features:

  • Performance-calibrated to match transmission shift points to engine load for optimal shifting
  • Nylon-reinforced diaphragm provides extensive durability and tear-proof operation
  • High-temperature oil seals ensure proper fit and leak-proof performance
  • Brass finish construction for corrosion resistance
  • 100% end-of-line tested to validate performance and quality
  • Single hose connector for vacuum line attachment

This vacuum modulator is engineered as a direct replacement for worn or faulty factory units, helping to eliminate harsh shifts, slipping, and poor transmission performance. Standard Motor Products manufactures this component to OE specifications for reliable fitment and long service life.
