Standard Motor Products SLS364 Stoplight Brake Light Switch

The Standard Motor Products SLS364 is a direct-fit replacement stoplight switch, also known as a brake light switch, engineered to restore proper brake light operation and braking system signal integrity. When the brake pedal is depressed, this switch completes the circuit that activates the rear brake lights, alerting other drivers and helping prevent rear-end collisions.

On modern vehicles equipped with push-button keyless ignition systems, the brake light switch plays an additional critical role — the vehicle requires the brake pedal to be depressed before the engine will start. A faulty or worn stoplight switch can trigger a no-start condition in addition to inoperative brake lights.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement designed to restore factory brake light switching performance
• Robust construction using brass or high-impact composite housing for maximum durability
• Copper alloy conductors for superior electrical conductivity and low resistive losses
• Special-design spring and contact arrangement minimizes electrical arcing for extended service life
• 100% tested to verify both mechanical and electrical switching performance before leaving the factory
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications

Standard Motor Products is one of the automotive aftermarket's most trusted names in switches and electrical components, offering more than 300 stoplight switch SKUs with comprehensive coverage for domestic and import applications.
