Product Details

The Standard Motor Products SLS121 Stoplight Switch is a direct-fit replacement brake light switch engineered to restore proper brake light operation. When the brake pedal is depressed, this switch sends the signal that activates your vehicle's brake lights, alerting drivers behind you and maintaining road safety.

Key Features:

  • OE-quality construction using brass or high-impact composite housings for maximum durability and performance
  • Special-design spring and contact arrangement reduces arcing for extended service life
  • Copper alloy conductors ensure superior electrical conductivity with minimal resistive losses
  • 100% tested to verify mechanical and electrical switching performance before leaving the factory
  • All-new construction — contains no remanufactured components
  • Designed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for dependable, maintenance-free operation

A faulty brake light switch can cause brake lights to stop illuminating, creating a serious safety hazard for you and other drivers. On vehicles with push-button keyless ignition systems, a failed stoplight switch can also prevent the engine from starting. The SLS121 is a straightforward replacement that restores full functionality. Standard Motor Products is a leading independent supplier to the automotive aftermarket, maintaining complete quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

Great price, problem with the manufacturer shipping it out, but was rectified by Autoplicity. Very good follow up customer service.
