Product Details

The Standard Motor Products DS2257 is a replacement instrument panel dimmer switch (also called a panel dimming switch or dash light dimmer switch). It controls the brightness of the gauge cluster and dash lighting, so you can adjust the display for night driving.

Key Features:

  • Standard Motor Products part number DS2257, also listed as DS-2257
  • Replacement instrument panel dimmer switch for adjusting dash and gauge illumination
  • Plastic construction with a black finish
  • Standard Motor Products designs its replacement dimmer switches to meet or exceed OEM specifications for accurate, maintenance-free operation
  • Wiring and relay are not included

A worn or failing dimmer switch can leave dash lighting stuck too bright or too dim, or make it flicker or cut out. Replacing it with the DS2257 restores smooth control of the instrument panel lighting.
