Standard Motor Products AX65 Air Charge Temperature Sensor

The Standard Motor Products AX65 is a direct-fit Air Charge Temperature (ACT) Sensor, also commonly referred to as an Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor. This sensor monitors the temperature of incoming air entering the intake manifold or air cleaner assembly, relaying that data to the Engine Control Module (ECM) so it can optimize fuel delivery and ignition timing for efficient combustion.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — engineered to match original equipment specifications for fit, form, and function
• Measures intake air temperature to help the ECM calculate accurate air density for proper air/fuel mixture
• Constructed with high-quality thermistor elements for accurate, stable temperature readings across a wide operating range
• Corrosion-resistant housing designed to withstand harsh underhood environments
• Plug-and-play installation — no modification required
• Manufactured by Standard Motor Products, a trusted name in OE-quality ignition and engine management components

A faulty air charge temperature sensor can cause hard starting, poor fuel economy, rough idle, and failed emissions tests. Replacing a worn or damaged sensor with the Standard Motor Products AX65 restores proper ECM feedback and helps maintain peak engine performance.
