Product Details

The Standard Motor Products ATS7 is a direct-fit Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) Sensor engineered to restore accurate outside air temperature readings to your vehicle's climate control and engine management systems. This sensor monitors the temperature of ambient air entering the vehicle and relays that data to the powertrain control module (PCM), enabling precise adjustments to fuel mixture, ignition timing, and HVAC operation.

Key Features:

  • OE-Matched Resistance Curve: Calibrated to precisely match original equipment resistance characteristics across a wide temperature range
  • Direct-Fit Replacement: Designed as a plug-and-play replacement requiring no modification to the factory wiring harness
  • Durable Construction: Built with quality materials to withstand engine bay heat cycles, vibration, and environmental exposure
  • Accurate Signal Output: Provides the PCM with reliable temperature data to support correct air/fuel ratio and climate control adjustments
  • Meets or Exceeds OE Specifications: Form, fit, and function engineered to original equipment standards

Standard Motor Products is a trusted name in OE-quality sensors and ignition components, with decades of experience supplying the professional installer and DIY markets. The ATS7 is part of their comprehensive temperature sensor program, ensuring a reliable, long-lasting repair.

So happy to find this item so quickly. Hoping it's identical to the one it needs to replace. I plan on keeping "autoplicity" website handy for future reference! =)
