Product Details

The Fel-Pro 1298 is a composite intake manifold gasket set engineered for Chevrolet Big Block V8 applications using GM Performance and Dart Big Chief cylinder heads with non-conventional port and bolt locations. Constructed from a proprietary composite material with a surface coating, this set is designed to achieve a reliable seal even on imperfect or high-performance machined surfaces. The rectangular port opening measures 1.86 x 2.46 inches, making it compatible with the oversized ports found on Dart Big Chief heads and similar performance cylinder heads.

Key Features:

 • Composite construction with coating for enhanced sealing on performance and high-output Big Block applications
 • Rectangular port shape sized at 1.86 x 2.46 in. — matched to Dart Big Chief head port dimensions
 • Gasket thickness of 0.060 in. for consistent, repeatable sealing
 • No exhaust crossover openings or blocking shields — suited for performance intake configurations
 • Designed without upper bolt holes to match Dart Big Chief head bolt patterns
 • Performance grade; engineered for aluminum heads with non-conventional port and bolt locations

Fel-Pro gaskets are manufactured with proprietary materials and engineered for real-world repair and performance-build environments, delivering a dependable seal on even demanding applications. This set is designed for GM Performance Big Block V8 engines in the 396, 402, 427, 454, 502, 510, 540, and 572 cubic inch displacements when equipped with Dart Big Chief heads.

AMAZING!!! Two day delivery and excellent customer services! The truck mat was exactly what I wanted and the lowest price on the internet. I will recommend Autoplicity and will buy from again.

Thanks for the great product and service!

First time using Autoplicity. Found some great pricing on their site. Plan on doing plenty of mods to my new truck and would definetley recommend them and would be using them again very soon.

Great Pricing (lowest i can find anywhere) and Quick Shipping, Product has no damage from shipping! Thank you Autoplicity!

I only gave them a 3 star raring on their shipping because I went on their site on Tuesday and the order said it had not been shipped. On Wednesday I received my shipment. The left hand needs to figure out what the right hand is doing. Other than that, GREAT
