Product Details

The Airtex 5S1734 is a direct-fit crankshaft position (CKP) sensor designed to restore precise engine timing and ignition control. Also cross-referenced as PC43, this sensor monitors the rotational speed and position of the crankshaft and sends a signal to the engine control module (ECM), enabling accurate fuel injection timing and spark advance.

Airtex is a trusted OEM-quality supplier with decades of experience producing engine management components. The 5S1734 is engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring a reliable, long-lasting repair without the guesswork of an off-brand replacement.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement — no modifications required for installation
  • Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Restores accurate crankshaft speed and position signal to the ECM
  • Helps resolve hard starts, misfires, stalling, and no-start conditions caused by a failed CKP sensor
  • Cross-reference: PC43
  • Manufactured by Airtex Automotive Division, a leading engine management parts supplier

A faulty crankshaft position sensor can cause a wide range of driveability issues, including engine misfires, rough idle, stalling, and failure to start. Replacing it with the Airtex 5S1734 ensures your engine management system receives the precise data it needs for optimal performance and fuel efficiency.

Great price and good company to buy from!

quick & easy!

I ordered CV axles from Autoplicity and had them in less than a week! Definitely the best prices for quality product on this item. Will be a return customer for sure!

I was apprehensiveness at first to make a major purchase with Autoplicity due to their extremely low price and lack of reviews. I decided to take the chance and I am very glad I did. I made my order on a Monday morning at 0900 eastern time and my product arrived on Wednesday at 3pm. The item was exactly as described and the most astonishing part is that my purchase was released from the factory less than 45 days ago. I was expecting a model that had been sitting on a shelf for the last year and needed to be updated. That was not the case. I will definitely order from Autoplicity again in the future.

Great shopping experience.

Very good price. Super quick delivery. Will def. buy from them again. Highley recomend them
