Airtex 5S1694 Engine Crankshaft Position Sensor PC255

The Airtex 5S1694 is a direct-fit replacement crankshaft position sensor (also cross-referenced as PC255) engineered to restore proper engine management function. The crankshaft position sensor — also known as a crank sensor or CKP sensor — is a critical engine management component responsible for monitoring crankshaft speed and position, enabling the engine control module (ECM) to precisely manage ignition timing, fuel injection timing, and RPM signal output.

Engineered and tested to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) specifications, this replacement sensor delivers reliable signal output to the vehicle's on-board computers, helping maintain optimal engine performance, fuel economy, and emissions compliance. A failing crankshaft position sensor can cause symptoms such as hard starting, engine stalling, rough idle, misfires, or a check engine light (CEL).

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — designed for precise fit and function
• Engineered and tested to meet or exceed OE specifications
• Provides accurate crankshaft position and RPM data to the ECM
• Supports correct ignition timing and fuel injection sequencing
• Built to withstand extreme under-hood heat, vibration, and environmental conditions
• Cross-reference: PC255

The Airtex 5S1694 crankshaft position sensor is a dependable aftermarket solution for restoring engine management accuracy and reliability.
