Product Details

The Airtex 5S1603 is a direct-fit replacement engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor engineered to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) specifications. This sensor monitors coolant temperature and delivers critical data to the engine control module (ECM), helping regulate fuel injection, ignition timing, and transmission shifting for optimal engine performance.

Key Features:

  • Engineered and tested to meet or exceed OE specifications for reliable, accurate performance
  • Tight-tolerance thermistor design ensures precise temperature measurement and proper signal output
  • 100% factory tested prior to shipment for trouble-free installation and operation
  • Direct-fit replacement for hassle-free installation — no modifications required
  • Designed to withstand high operating temperatures and long-term engine vibration

Cross-Reference Part Numbers: TX108, 213-963, ACDelco 12564512, GM 19244715, GM 12575198, 71-2667, WT5122, SU1485, 2CTS0046, Four Seasons 37866

A failed or failing coolant temperature sensor can trigger a Check Engine light, cause poor fuel economy, rough idle, and in some cases allow the engine to overheat without warning. Replacing a worn sensor with the Airtex 5S1603 restores accurate temperature monitoring and proper ECM communication, helping protect your engine and maintain peak efficiency.

Great price and good company to buy from!

I was apprehensiveness at first to make a major purchase with Autoplicity due to their extremely low price and lack of reviews. I decided to take the chance and I am very glad I did. I made my order on a Monday morning at 0900 eastern time and my product arrived on Wednesday at 3pm. The item was exactly as described and the most astonishing part is that my purchase was released from the factory less than 45 days ago. I was expecting a model that had been sitting on a shelf for the last year and needed to be updated. That was not the case. I will definitely order from Autoplicity again in the future.

Very good price. Super quick delivery. Will def. buy from them again. Highley recomend them

Sweetest price on this K&N Filter anywhere! Shipped within 24hrs too. I'm coming back to shop for my car next.

Loved ordering from Autoplicity. Was the cheapest price around and best quality. Will be ordering again in the near future.
