Product Details

The Airtex 5H1016 is a direct-fit replacement ignition distributor condenser, also cross-referenced as JC36. The ignition condenser plays a critical role in a points-style distributor ignition system by absorbing voltage spikes generated when the contact points open, protecting the points from arcing and ensuring a clean, strong spark for reliable engine starts and smooth operation.

Key Features:

  • Stock replacement condenser designed to restore proper ignition system function
  • Includes mounting bracket for straightforward installation
  • Sold individually as a single unit
  • Built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for dependable, long-lasting performance
  • Cross-references: JC36, JC-36

This condenser is a trusted aftermarket replacement for vehicles equipped with conventional breaker-point distributor ignition systems. Replacing a worn or failed condenser can resolve hard-starting, misfiring, and rough idle caused by degraded ignition performance.

Great price and good company to buy from!

I found parts for my car from google shopping and wanted to verify that everything was correct before order. I call the phone number and somebody picked right up and checked on everything for me. A++ seller. Thanks Autoplicity!

I ordered CV axles from Autoplicity and had them in less than a week! Definitely the best prices for quality product on this item. Will be a return customer for sure!

I was apprehensiveness at first to make a major purchase with Autoplicity due to their extremely low price and lack of reviews. I decided to take the chance and I am very glad I did. I made my order on a Monday morning at 0900 eastern time and my product arrived on Wednesday at 3pm. The item was exactly as described and the most astonishing part is that my purchase was released from the factory less than 45 days ago. I was expecting a model that had been sitting on a shelf for the last year and needed to be updated. That was not the case. I will definitely order from Autoplicity again in the future.

Very good price. Super quick delivery. Will def. buy from them again. Highley recomend them
