Airtex 4P1210 Distributor Ignition Pick-Up Coil

The Airtex 4P1210 is a direct-fit distributor ignition pick-up coil (also known as a reluctor pickup, ignition pickup assembly, or distributor pickup coil) designed to restore proper ignition timing signals in vehicles equipped with electronic distributor ignition systems.

The pick-up coil is a critical component inside the distributor that generates the trigger signal sent to the ignition control module (ICM). When the reluctor wheel passes the pick-up coil, a small AC voltage pulse is produced, signaling the module to fire the ignition coil at precisely the right moment. A failed or degraded pick-up coil commonly results in a no-start condition, misfires, rough idle, or intermittent stalling.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement for a precise fit and reliable performance
• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Restores proper ignition timing signal generation
• Designed for use with electronic distributor ignition systems
• Helps resolve symptoms including no-start, misfires, and stalling caused by pick-up coil failure

Airtex Automotive Division is a well-established supplier of fuel system and ignition components, offering parts engineered for dependable, long-service-life performance. The 4P1210 pick-up coil is built to deliver consistent signal output under demanding engine bay temperatures and conditions.
