Product Details

The Airtex 4F1116 is a direct-fit exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for reliable emissions control. This EGR valve helps reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by recirculating a portion of exhaust gases back into the engine's combustion chamber, lowering combustion temperatures.

Key Features:

  • Stainless steel valve components for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance
  • Polyester-reinforced silicone diaphragm engineered to resist thermal aging in temperatures up to 200°C
  • Includes reinforced gasket for complete replacement and proper sealing
  • Direct-fit OE replacement design for simplified installation
  • Precision-engineered to restore proper EGR system function

Airtex is headquartered in Fairfield, Illinois and maintains ISO/TS 16949:2002 and ISO 14001 quality certifications. This EGR valve cross-references with Standard Ignition part number EGV429 and multiple OEM numbers including GM 17112331, 17111579, and ACDelco 214-2272.
