Product Details

The Airtex 1S6691 is a direct-fit engine oil pressure switch designed to monitor and report engine oil pressure to the vehicle's warning system or gauge. When oil pressure drops below a safe operating threshold, this switch activates the oil pressure warning light on the instrument cluster, alerting the driver to a potentially dangerous condition before engine damage can occur.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE-style replacement for a precise, reliable fit
  • Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Activates the oil pressure warning indicator when pressure drops to unsafe levels
  • Durable construction for long service life under high-heat, high-pressure engine conditions
  • Easy installation — designed as a plug-and-play replacement

Manufactured by Airtex Automotive Division, a trusted name in engine management and fuel system components, this oil pressure switch is built to restore proper oil pressure monitoring to your vehicle. Cross-references with Standard Motor Products PS138T.
