Product Details

The Airtex 1S1823 is a direct-fit HVAC blower motor resistor (also known as a blower control switch or blower speed resistor) designed to restore proper fan speed control to your vehicle's heating and air conditioning system. Cross-referenced as HS204, this replacement component meets or exceeds OEM specifications for reliable, long-lasting performance.

The blower motor resistor regulates the electrical current supplied to the blower motor, allowing the driver to select multiple fan speeds. A failed resistor commonly causes the blower to operate only on the highest speed setting or to stop working entirely — symptoms this Airtex unit is engineered to correct.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement — no modifications required for installation
  • Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Restores full multi-speed fan control to the HVAC system
  • Cross-reference: HS204
  • Manufactured by Airtex Automotive Division, a trusted supplier of fuel and HVAC components

The Airtex 1S1823 is a straightforward, plug-and-play replacement that makes it an ideal choice for DIY mechanics and professional technicians alike seeking a cost-effective, quality repair solution.
