Product Details

The Airtex 1C1048 carburetor choke pull-off is a vacuum-operated diaphragm assembly that controls the automatic choke system in carbureted engines. This component works by using engine vacuum to partially open the choke plate after cold starting, preventing an overly rich fuel mixture and ensuring smooth engine operation during warm-up.

Key Features:

  • Precision-engineered vacuum diaphragm for reliable choke control
  • Direct replacement for original equipment on multiple domestic vehicle applications
  • Durable construction designed to withstand heat and vibration in the engine compartment
  • Helps prevent rough idle, stalling, and excessive fuel consumption during warm-up

This choke pull-off is manufactured by Airtex, a trusted name in automotive engine management components. Also known by cross-reference number CPA38, this part fits select American Motors, Buick, Cadillac, Checker, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Lincoln, Mercury, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac vehicles equipped with specific carburetor systems.

Fast delivery

quick and easy and had exactly what i was looking for

Purchased my mishimoto heat tape. Cheapest price around and the shipment was delivered in a very reasonable time. Couldnt be happier

Best price on the internet for my parts. Shipped out the next morning.

shipped fast, cant wait to put it on the jeep, would buy from here in the future.

I'll admit to being skeptical at first, but the price was worth the risk. Turned out to be one of the best online transactions I've experienced. Received item 3 days after purchaseing and the best price I found. And I looked hard! A+

Rather amazing and uneventful service in this day and age. Ordered a Thule bike rack for my Nissan Murano. It was in stock (unusual for high-end specialty products), shipped the next day, and was on my doorstep in a few days (excellent for a 60 lb. large box). I'd buy anything from these people without any reservation. AND, your order is insured - completely superfluous. Oh, and did I mention, the lowest price I could find ANYWHERE, and not by a few dollars - a lot.
