Product Details

The Standard Motor Products RY679 is a direct-fit replacement A/C compressor clutch relay engineered to restore proper air conditioning operation. This 12-volt, 30-amp relay controls power delivery to the A/C compressor clutch, engaging and disengaging the compressor as commanded by the vehicle's climate control system.

Key Features:

  • Exceeds OEM specifications for accurate, maintenance-free operation
  • 30-amp, 12-volt rated for reliable electrical performance
  • 4-blade terminal design for straightforward plug-in installation
  • High-quality composite housing protects against extreme temperatures and harsh under-hood conditions
  • Brass or copper contacts for transient-free switching and extended service life
  • Manufactured to TS16949 and ISO9001 quality standards
  • Sold individually — no wiring harness included

Cross-references: Omron MR538851, Duralast 20327, PR5388, Echlin AR6184. A failing A/C clutch relay commonly causes the compressor to not engage, resulting in warm air from the vents. The RY679 is a reliable, cost-effective solution to restore full A/C system function.
