Product Details

The NGK 2953 G-Power Platinum spark plug (service number YR5GP) is a single platinum spark plug. It is designed as an affordable upgrade over conventional nickel plugs and as a lower-cost alternative to double precious metal plugs. A fine wire platinum center electrode lowers the voltage needed to fire the plug. This supports quicker starts, better acceleration and improved fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

  • Fine wire platinum tip center electrode for stable spark and durability
  • Trapezoidal cut ground electrode reduces quenching and improves ignitability
  • Copper core for heat dissipation and conductivity across a wide heat range
  • Trivalent metal plating resists corrosion and seizing, so no anti-seize is needed
  • Ceramic insulator with corrugated ribs to help prevent flashover
  • Cold-rolled threads help prevent cross-threading and cylinder head damage
  • Built-in resistor for radio-frequency noise suppression

I haven't received my parts yet, but they just notified me that the order has been shipped. I think this is very fast service. Their online ordering system was very easy to use. And best of all, they had the lowest prices on the items I ordered. Even the shipping charge was less than some other companies. So far, I am very satisfied with Autoplicity, and I will certainly check their Website the next time I'm looking for parts.

Autoplicity had an item my vendor had on backorder for weeks in stock and shipped it very quickly. I'm glad i found this place on the web, and will be looking forward to doing business with them in the future!

Ordered on a Friday and they had it shipped by Monday and will be at my door step by Wednesday. Prices are amazing I will have to buy from them again.

Best prices, fast shipping, and product as described. I would definitely recommend Autoplicity.

I looked around for few months on where to go to purchase JBA headers for my 01 Tundra. I came across Autoplicity and their prices were untouchable. I even called to speak with a sales representative and he gave me a discount code for my purchase. I would highly recommend doing business and plan on doing more business with them.
