Clevite MB-3829VU(25) V-Series Main Bearing Set - 25

The Clevite MB-3829VU(25) is a high-performance V-Series main bearing set designed for demanding automotive applications. This bearing set features Clevite's proven TriMetal construction with a lead-indium overlay, offering exceptional conformability and reliability for performance and racing engines.

V-Series Technology:

• Lead-indium overlay provides superior conformability compared to standard lead-tin-copper overlays
• Hardened steel backing for maximum strength and durability
• Single-piece thrust bearing construction for improved reliability
• No flash plating on steel back for optimal bearing seating
• Low to medium eccentricity design for controlled contact patterns

Key Features:

• TriMetal bearing construction combines strength with excellent wear characteristics
• 180-degree upper shell oil groove provides optimal lubrication to connecting rod bearings
• Ungrooved lower shells maintain maximum oil film thickness for extended bearing life
• High crush design ensures positive bearing retention
• Precision manufactured to strict tolerances for consistent performance

V-Series bearings are ideal for builders who require excellent conformability to accommodate minor surface irregularities while maintaining strong wear resistance. The lead-indium overlay makes these bearings particularly well-suited for high-performance street engines and racing applications where both durability and adaptability are critical.
