Product Details

The ARP 400-7613 valve cover stud kit provides superior sealing performance for cast aluminum valve covers. This professional-grade kit includes 8 precision-manufactured studs designed to properly position gaskets and guide the valve cover into place during installation.

Key Features:

  • 12-point head design for easy access in tight spaces
  • Chrome moly steel construction with black oxide finish for corrosion resistance
  • Wide-base nuts for improved load distribution and better sealing
  • Complete kit includes studs, nuts, and washers
  • 8-piece set for cast aluminum valve cover applications
  • Compact head design allows easier wrench access than conventional hex heads

Professional engine builders prefer ARP studs over bolts because studs eliminate the twisting motion that can displace gaskets during installation. The stud design ensures consistent clamping force and proper valve cover alignment, reducing the risk of oil leaks. Each component is manufactured to ARP's exacting standards for reliability in high-performance and racing applications.
