Product Details

The Canton Racing Products 85-010 is a phenolic fuel pump insulator designed to reduce heat transfer from the engine block to mechanical fuel pumps on Small Block Ford V8 engines. This thermal barrier helps keep fuel cooler as it passes through the pump, reducing the risk of vapor lock and improving fuel system performance in high-temperature conditions.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from phenolic material for superior heat insulation
  • Reduces heat transfer from engine block to fuel pump
  • Helps prevent fuel vapor lock by keeping fuel temperatures lower
  • Installs between fuel pump and engine mounting boss
  • Universal fit for most domestic V8 engines (excludes Ford Cleveland and Oldsmobile applications)
  • Easy installation on mechanical fuel pumps

This insulator is an essential upgrade for performance applications, street rods, and any vehicle experiencing fuel delivery issues related to heat soak. The phenolic construction provides effective thermal insulation while maintaining proper fuel pump spacing and alignment.

No complaints, Best price, fast shipping, very good communication along all process.<br>Thanks.

I paid for 2nd day shipping and 5 days later they were shipped out. So, I should receive my rotors in a full week from when I paid for 2 day shipping. I called customer service and they discounted the shipping rate to ground service. At least they were polite and helpful in the phone.

Great prices will shop here again.

Excellent on-line merchant with outstanding customer service and the best prices on equipment and shipping. Highly reccomended!

Good prices and easy ordering process (order #18003). The only issue that I had was after placing the order, completing the entire process, I received three emails stating that "We noticed that you started checking out on our site, but didn't quite finish the process". After calling customer service, they ensured me that the order was complete. Since then, I receive the same email(3 emails at a time) on a daily basis. Just a little annoying, but easy enough to delete.
