Product Details

The COMP Cams CL20-249-4 Magnum 260H solid flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit is engineered for Chrysler small block 273-360 cubic inch V8 engines seeking aggressive performance with a traditional hot rod sound. This hydraulic flat tappet camshaft delivers strong mid-range to top-end power with a noticeable lope at idle, making it ideal for street/strip applications, muscle car restorations, and performance street machines.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised duration: 260° intake / 260° exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 208° intake / 208° exhaust
  • Valve lift: .420" intake / .420" exhaust (with 1.5:1 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe separation angle: 110°
  • Recommended RPM range: 1,500-5,500 RPM
  • Recommended compression ratio: 9.0:1 minimum

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Magnum solid flat tappet camshaft
  • High-performance solid flat tappet lifters (16)
  • COMP Cams assembly lube
  • Installation instructions
  • COMP Cams decals

This camshaft requires aftermarket valve springs, pushrods, and a performance valve train to handle the increased lift and duration. It works best with headers, a performance intake manifold, and a carburetor sized appropriately for the engine displacement. Professional installation and proper break-in procedures are essential for solid flat tappet camshafts to ensure proper lifter face wear patterns and longevity.

little confusing but great

Great product and service

great pricing

I paid for 2nd day shipping and 5 days later they were shipped out. So, I should receive my rotors in a full week from when I paid for 2 day shipping. I called customer service and they discounted the shipping rate to ground service. At least they were polite and helpful in the phone.

Excellent on-line merchant with outstanding customer service and the best prices on equipment and shipping. Highly reccomended!
