The COMP Cams CL11-692-8 Magnum series camshaft and lifter kit delivers aggressive performance for Chevrolet big block engines from 396 to 454 cubic inches. This solid roller cam features 246 degrees of advertised duration on both intake and exhaust, providing a strong midrange to top-end power band ideal for street/strip applications and racing engines.

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Magnum solid roller camshaft with 246/246 duration profile
  • High-performance solid roller lifters engineered for maximum durability
  • Assembly lubricant for proper break-in procedure
  • Installation instructions with recommended valve spring specs
  • COMP Cams decals

This solid roller design eliminates the friction and wear associated with flat tappet cams while allowing for more aggressive lobe profiles and higher valve lift. The kit is designed for engines with aftermarket cylinder heads, performance intake manifolds, and headers. Proper valve springs, retainers, and pushrods (not included) are required for installation. Recommended for race fuel applications with compression ratios above 10:1.
