Product Details

The COMP Cams CL01-421-8 XE series camshaft and lifter kit is engineered for Chevrolet Big Block Gen VI engines seeking improved mid-range power and throttle response. This hydraulic roller cam features 236°/242° advertised duration with aggressive lift profiles designed to deliver strong performance from idle through 6000 RPM.

Key Features:

  • XE-R series hydraulic roller camshaft with 236°/242° advertised duration
  • Optimized for improved torque and horsepower in the 1500-6000 RPM range
  • Hydraulic roller design reduces friction and wear for longer service life
  • Complete kit includes premium hydraulic roller lifters matched to cam profile
  • Assembly lube, installation instructions, and COMP Cams decals included
  • Designed specifically for Chevrolet Big Block Gen VI engines

This complete camshaft kit provides everything needed for installation except pushrods and timing components. The XE series profile is ideal for street/strip applications and works well with stock or mildly modified cylinder heads. The hydraulic roller design offers excellent performance without the maintenance requirements of solid roller cams, making it perfect for enthusiasts seeking reliable power gains with good driveability.
