Product Details

The COMP Cams CL08-407-8 Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter kit is engineered for small block Chevy engines with OE roller blocks. This complete kit delivers a significant performance upgrade with a 200/206 degree duration profile that provides increased power throughout the RPM range while maintaining excellent street manners and idle quality.

Key Features:

  • Hydraulic roller cam design for reduced friction and improved durability
  • 200/206 degree advertised duration for strong mid-range to upper RPM power
  • Designed specifically for OE roller small block Chevy applications (1987-up)
  • Complete kit includes camshaft, hydraulic roller lifters, assembly lube, decals, and detailed instructions
  • Xtreme Energy profile optimized for street/strip performance with excellent throttle response
  • Compatible with stock valve springs and factory fuel injection systems

This cam kit is ideal for enthusiasts looking to maximize performance in street-driven applications while maintaining reliability and drivability. The hydraulic roller design eliminates the need for break-in procedures required with flat tappet cams, and the included premium lifters ensure proper valve train operation. Perfect for trucks, muscle cars, and performance street machines running small block Chevy 305, 327, 350, and 383 stroker engines with factory roller cam provisions.
