Product Details

The COMP Cams K51-247-4 Magnum K-Kit is a comprehensive camshaft upgrade package designed specifically for Pontiac V8 engines from 265 to 455 cubic inches. This complete kit features a solid flat tappet camshaft with 260° advertised duration on both intake and exhaust, delivering improved mid-range torque and horsepower for street performance and muscle car restoration applications.

Complete K-Kit Includes Everything You Need:

  • Magnum solid flat tappet camshaft with 260/260 duration profile
  • Performance flat tappet lifters engineered to match cam specifications
  • High-performance valve springs rated for solid lifter operation
  • Precision steel retainers for reliable valve train control
  • Hardened valve locks (keepers) for secure retainer installation
  • Valve stem seals to prevent oil consumption
  • Timing chain set with gears for accurate cam timing
  • Assembly lube specifically formulated for flat tappet break-in
  • Installation instructions and COMP Cams decals

This K-Kit eliminates the guesswork of component matching by providing professionally selected valve train components that work together as a complete system. The Magnum 260 profile offers excellent street manners with a noticeable performance gain over stock, making it ideal for daily drivers, street machines, and classic Pontiac restoration projects. The solid flat tappet design provides durability and allows for precise valve adjustment to maintain optimal performance over time.
