Product Details

The COMP Cams SK31-226-3 Magnum/Marine hydraulic flat tappet camshaft kit is engineered for Ford small block 221-302 cubic inch engines, delivering a 230°/230° duration profile for improved mid-range torque and horsepower. This complete SK-Kit (Small Kit) provides all essential valvetrain components needed for a professional camshaft installation.

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Magnum hydraulic flat tappet camshaft with 230°/230° duration
  • Hydraulic flat tappet lifters (full set)
  • Timing chain set with gears
  • COMP Cams assembly lube for proper break-in
  • Installation instructions and decals

This cam profile is ideal for street/strip applications and marine use, offering excellent throttle response and power delivery across the RPM range. The hydraulic flat tappet design provides quiet operation and low maintenance compared to solid lifter configurations. Compatible with stock or aftermarket cylinder heads, this kit simplifies the camshaft upgrade process by bundling critical components in one package.

Application: Ford 221, 260, 289, and 302 cubic inch small block V8 engines (pre-5.0L roller block applications).
