The COMP Cams 817-1 Performance Series EDM solid flat tappet lifter is engineered for high-performance Ford V8 engines. These precision-manufactured lifters are designed using Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) technology to ensure exact tolerances and consistent quality across all units.

Application:

This lifter fits Ford small block 302 and 351 Windsor engines, Cleveland 351C engines, Modified 351M and 400M engines, and big block 429 and 460 engines. Designed for street performance, street/strip, and racing applications where solid lifter durability and precise valve control are essential.

Note: Sold individually. Verify quantity needed for your application. Proper break-in procedures and appropriate lubrication are critical for solid lifter longevity. Use break-in oil with high levels of zinc and phosphorus (ZDDP) for initial startup.
