The COMP Cams SK51-234-4 Magnum camshaft kit delivers proven performance for Pontiac 265-455 cubic inch V8 engines. This complete SK-Kit (Small Kit) features a 230/230 duration hydraulic flat tappet camshaft designed to provide strong mid-range torque and horsepower gains while maintaining excellent street manners and vacuum for power accessories.

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Magnum 230/230 hydraulic flat tappet camshaft
  • Hydraulic flat tappet lifters (16)
  • Timing chain and gear set
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in
  • COMP Cams decals
  • Detailed installation instructions

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Duration: 230° intake / 230° exhaust (advertised)
  • Valve lift: Approximately .420" intake / .420" exhaust (with 1.5:1 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe separation angle: 110°

This kit is ideal for street performance applications and provides everything needed for a professional camshaft installation except valve springs and pushrods. The Magnum camshaft grinds are COMP Cams' most popular profiles, offering a balanced combination of performance, drivability, and reliability. Compatible with stock or aftermarket cylinder heads and intake manifolds. Recommended for engines with stock to mildly modified compression ratios.
