Product Details

The COMP Cams SK01-418-8 Xtreme Energy camshaft kit delivers aggressive performance for Chevrolet Big Block Gen VI engines with a 230/236 duration profile designed for street/strip applications. This hydraulic roller cam provides excellent throttle response and mid-range power while maintaining street drivability.

Complete SK-Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller camshaft with 230°/236° advertised duration
  • Hydraulic roller lifters engineered for high-RPM performance
  • Timing chain set with precision-matched components
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in protection
  • Installation instructions and COMP Cams decals

This small kit format provides all essential components for a professional camshaft installation, delivering increased horsepower and torque throughout the powerband. The hydraulic roller design reduces friction and wear while eliminating the need for break-in procedures required by flat tappet cams. Ideal for performance street machines, weekend racers, and big block Chevy enthusiasts seeking reliable power gains.
