The COMP Cams CL09-420-8 Magnum hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter kit delivers excellent mid-range power and torque for small block Chevrolet 262-400 cubic inch engines. With 215/215 degrees of advertised duration and a moderate lift profile, this cam is ideal for street performance builds seeking improved throttle response and power without sacrificing driveability.

This camshaft kit is designed for street performance applications with stock or mildly modified engines. The hydraulic roller design eliminates the need for break-in procedures required by flat tappet cams while providing superior durability. Recommended operating range is 1,500-5,500 RPM with optimal performance between 2,000-5,000 RPM. Works well with stock to moderate compression ratios and stock or performance exhaust systems.
