Product Details

The COMP Cams SK11-461-8 Xtreme Marine camshaft kit is engineered specifically for Chevrolet Big Block engines (396-454 cubic inches) operating in marine applications. This hydraulic roller camshaft features aggressive 254/260 duration specifications designed to deliver strong mid-range torque and top-end power while maintaining the reliability required for marine environments.

Complete SK-Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Marine hydraulic roller camshaft with 254/260 duration profile
  • Matched hydraulic roller lifters engineered for the camshaft profile
  • Timing chain set for precise valve timing
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in protection
  • Installation instructions for proper setup
  • COMP Cams decals

The Xtreme Marine series is specifically designed to handle the unique demands of marine engines, including extended periods at high RPM, increased humidity exposure, and the need for consistent performance in challenging conditions. The hydraulic roller design reduces friction and wear compared to flat tappet camshafts while eliminating the need for break-in procedures. This kit provides all the essential components needed for a professional camshaft upgrade on Chevrolet Big Block marine engines.
