The COMP Cams CL31-115-4 High Energy hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit delivers excellent torque and fuel economy with a very smooth idle, making it an ideal upgrade for 289 engines with automatic transmissions and stock gears. Part of COMP's High Energy series, this complete kit is designed to work well with mainly stock components and provides a perfect blend of efficiency and performance for performance rebuilds.

  • Duration @ 0.050" Lift: 192° intake / 200° exhaust
  • Advertised Duration: 240° intake / 248° exhaust

This High Energy cam is designed for street engines with 8:1 to 9:1 compression ratios and works well with all stock components, including intakes, exhaust manifolds, and carburetors. The mild profile delivers good increases in both gas mileage and power throughout the rpm range while maintaining excellent street manners. Ideal for Small Block Ford 221, 260, 289, and 302 cubic inch engines from 1963-1995.
