Product Details

The Stabilus 51258132679 is a precision-engineered gas pressurized lift support designed to hold open the rear convertible boot lid cover. This OEM-quality component replaces worn or failed struts that no longer maintain sufficient pressure to keep the lid properly elevated.

Key Features:

  • Gas pressurized spring mechanism for reliable support
  • Direct OEM replacement quality from Stabilus, the world's leading gas spring manufacturer
  • Manufactured with precision engineering and high-quality materials
  • Designed to restore proper boot lid operation and clearance
  • Ball joint mounting style for secure installation

Over time, convertible top cover lift supports lose their ability to hold pressure, resulting in a boot lid that will not stay up or fails to raise high enough to clear the convertible top during operation. This Stabilus gas spring restores original functionality and ensures the lid remains securely elevated when opened. Sold individually.

Cross-Reference Part Numbers: BMW 51258132679, Stabilus SG402046, Stabilus 805.6LV
